Creativity to me, is a gift and an obsession. It manifested itself for me at a very young age, from my obsession with drawing horses from my parents' World Book Encyclopedias (My Internet while recovering from chicken pox in the first grade), to creating flip book animations in grade school in every text book I owned, to my marionette phase (What the hell is that all about?) and even my clay animation phase (My parents' basement was turned into a stop-motion studio, with my mom having to dodge tripods and lighting stands just to do laundry or pull a corned beef out of the freezer).
Inspiration fuels my creative obsession. For one, my childhood neighbor. He was a public school art teacher with tremendous talent who lived just 7 houses down the street from me in upstate New York. His garage was his "gallery” and as a young lad of 6 years old I can remember marveling at the scope of his versatility.
Versatility drives my creative process, and one of the driving forces in approaching every design project is listening.
Listening to my clients' needs and desires is monumental in a successful design process. Listening and learning from other creative people is as an important tool as my Mac and killer software.
My partner Rory and I were fortunate enough to find each other, drifting through our creative careers, east coast meeting west, to form a power-house team.

I was recognized for my creative abilities early in life. When I was in kindergarten my Halloween art project was featured on the front cover of the school's fall newsletter. Looking back, that experience helped shape my entire professional career.
The thought of my visual ideas coming to life is exciting enough, but sharing my creations and seeing an audience respond to my work is truly satisfying.
For nearly 20 years my career has steered me in many creative directions – from traditional illustration and photography, to corporate and product development, design and marketing, to copywriting and consulting. All these experiences have given me the know-how of what makes a company, product or design extraordinary.
Thankful for the "artistic" gene passed on from my father, the gift of expressing my ideas in words from my verbal, educated mother and learning the ways of becoming an effective leader from my strong-willed older sister – All helped to shape me into the creative, articulate and attentive designer I am today.
Together with my partner, Greg, we are truly an unstoppable design team. Melding our creative ideas into one "ultimate" design is what we do – and we do it very well.
Oh yes, one more thing about the Kindergarten thing: Halloween is by far my favorite holiday!
